4th June 2009: Guess who has been
lucky enough to be selected to play hockey for England - Vintage Masters (O55s)!

A special issue of the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health will be
published shortly, presenting the results of Phase 2 of the independent evaluation
of the environmental and human health impacts of the aerial coca eradication
programme in Colombia. The study has been made for the Organisation of American
States Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD). Project
link here. Papers will
cover spray drift, adjuvants, amphibian distributions and ecotoxicology, as
well as times to pregnancy and micronuclei in humans in different regions of
Colombia.

1 February 2009: The latest paper published by Jon Marshall in Weed Research examines the potential impacts of sown grass margins and landscape structure on weed assemblages in arable crops.
28th November 2008: The Somerset Hedge Group 2008 Photographic Competition prize-giving was held. The prize for the overall winner, "Zig zag hedge" by Christopher Bryne, was sponsored by Marshall Agroecology Limited.
